Noises and Lights

After living in a rural area for many years last night in our new home was strange.  In the distance I could hear a low roar of traffic, an occasional train, and there was way too much light intruding into the house. The dogs have not adjusted either and sit at the doors waiting to leave.  Even in the backyard they sit at the gate.  How do they know it's a gate, we have not opened it.  Getting out to go shopping is easy - everything is less than 10 minutes away.  That might work against our austerity program.  Will seem strange tomorrow when we return to our other house, knowing that it is now our "weekend place".

Even though I'm in India, a few of us ladies are planning to take a Feng Shui Course (Chinese) from a German woman (I know!?!) soon. I will let you know what I learn and maybe your dogs will be at more peace in your new home.
That is funny - how do they know it is a gate.

You were once used to that background noise and will get used to it again as will the dogs too.
