"Dressy"
For our move to Chattanooga this week I packed up all my formal china and crystal. After I unpacked it Dick said why did you bring all the good stuff? Much to his chagrin I told him that this was going to be our "dressy" house and Big Canoe will be our casual house. Idaho is still mostly the castoff and hand me down house.

Paper plates for Thanksgiving or BYOP (Bring your own plate)
The table might not be all matchy-matchy and we may have to run the dishwasher often but we won't be eating on paper.
Using the "dressy" stuff in your everyday home is like following the rule "Life is short, eat dessert first."
