One of two covered shopping street.
Chocolates galore. Everyother shop was a chocolate store.

This little guy named appropriately, The Pisor, is the town mascot. This little statue draws a crowd and is often dressed in costume, even back in the 1600's. We were surprised he was not in a Halloween getup.
The street vendors either sold escargot or waffles .... see picture #3 to see which I chose to partake in.
On our next trip we will eat at this restaurant. While we sat outside enjoying our waffles, we watched the chef of this establishment work in his 3rd floor kitchen.

Flamingolady and I would make a good traveling team. Is the world ready for us?
Most of those pictures look like a fake backdrop :) Beautiful.
