New Places

Though I have been to N.W. Wyoming 9 times there are still places I've yet to explore. Have always known I would return again and again, so why not leave something until the next time. Friday we went to see Jenny Lake which is located in the Grand Teton National Park, between Jackson and Yellowstone. It was difficult to find a parking spot at the main lot so we were worried about being in a long line marching around the lake. Were we surprised .... almost everyone except us headed straight for the boat dock and took the shuttle to the opposite side of the lake where they walked for 1 mile, oohed and ahhd at a waterfall, then took the shuttle back. We walked 2/3 around the lake, maybe passing 2 other people every mile or so. Our walk was 5 miles then we took the shuttle boat back across. We were tired and mosquito bitten, but satisfied that we took the path less traveled.
