Garage Sales and Auctions
If you are almost as old as I am you might remember the TV show Gilligan's Island. One of the cast members Dawn Wells who played the character Mary Ann lives nearby here in Idaho. I read this evening that she is moving to California and having an auction at her home on Aug. 1. I went to the auction site to preview the items because I am in dire need of wall art. Well, her home and stuff looks just like any other grandma's stuff. Nothing very exciting. But if you are interested go to www.primetimeauctions.com

One tends to think that these former stars would have nice stuff...I'm not impressed.
Seems that I remember she got arrested last year for alcohol or drugs...maybe that is where she spent her money.
Not everyone who has been in Hollywood made money. She was just in the one series and after that very few bit parts. And she probably did not have a contract that gave her residuals on the years of syndication. She was arrested for pot possession and I think the charges were dropped later. Probably like a lot of older people, moving back to be near her kids. PS ... is that apartment available below you?
Funny. Nope...building is still full. We are outgrowing our apartment. Maybe we will move somewhere with a little extra space for Grossmutti to visit.
