Hello everybody. Though my cosmetic surgery has been an interesting journey, it just didn't warrant multiple blog postings during the past month. Hopefully, now that I am getting out of the house I will find interesting things to write about.
Tonight I must tell you about my 14 year old grandson. He has always been an excellent student and since 2nd grade has been in advanced classes. This year he started high school and took all AP classes. Today he told us about being asked to join even higher ranked classes starting this quarter. There are only a few high schools in the state that have this advanced math and science program supported by large companies anxious to hire qualified employees educated in this country. A big shout out to the Siemens company for investing in American schools. And a big hooray to Elijah for his ambition.

That's great! Elijah kicks butt!! Wonder if Siemen's lets these kids come to do shadowing programs over spring break or during the summer. The 14-yearold have been doing their practicums lately. Spending 2 weeks somewhere that links with their interest or skills - political office, accoutant office, the bank, kindergarten, photography,...even the plumber had someone with him the other day. Seems that almost every business participates.

I didn't know you were having surgery. I hope your recovery is a quick one.
Congrats to your grandson!
