From my youth I remember toboggans being easier to control than they were last week. See our three spectacular crashes. Crash #1 is Paula, Carol and myself. Crash #2 shows a bit more action. Notice the tangle of unmatching boots and snow spray. That's me in the blue jacket and pink goggles. Paula is buried along with the toboggan and not visable. And the photo of Crash #3 was photographic genius by Pete who captured the crash in mid air. Dan and Carol have not even hit the ground yet and Paula's scarf is still flying. We were all fine, though the toboggan was later put out of service forever after 45 years. We are now in the market for one made of titanium.

I'm not sure they were easier to control. I think we didn't care bac then - and the faster the better - and we enjoyed the "wipe-out"!
Great photo documentation. You all would lose your health insurance if they got a hold of those. =)
Will the old tobaggon be made into a bookshelf, coat rack, etc?
Still amused that instead of helping there was always someone taking the picture!
