Today the gates of animal heaven opened up.
Said the angel keeping watch "Buddie come this way.
Your little legs, no longer old, are now those of a pup,
So run along, have much fun, meet your friends for play.
Watch deer, bear, cats and squirrels as you lay here in the sun.
Feel free to bark and dance around, restored health has begun.
Go find your first friend Augie, and your brother Scooter too.
You were a good boy on the earth, they are waiting for you."
Our sweet ShihTsu, Buddie was born May, 1992 and died today at age 16-1/2 years. We have had several dogs during our lives, but there was something special about this little guy. He was a gentle dog and added much to our family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Buddie was one of the best dogs i've ever met in my life. Thank you Buddie for "baby-sitting" Elijah when he was small. You will be sorely missed. R.I.P.
I remember the day you and Priscilla came by the office in Blue Ash with two little bundles of fur--I fell in love with Buddie that day. As I sit here typing this, I can still remember the last time I saw him (a few weeks ago). He was still wagging his tail and full of love. Thanks for allowing him to be a small part of our lives. We truly loved the little guy and are so thankful that all dogs go to heaven. Even though I'm sure he will miss Big Canoe, he's in a much better place. Here's to Buddie Bud!!!!! We love you. Let me clear the tears that have welled up in my eyes.
Buddie B was and will always be a model dog, he has provided so much companionship to everyone. He was the perfect adopted brother to me.
Last night the family said 'where's buddie?' and our dogs started to look around and then we did a dog howl for him!
Love you Buddie!
I am so sorry Buddie died. I thought it was a joke the first time you told Mommie. Once again I am so sorry Buddie pasted away. I love you Buddie!!
Love,
Emma
I am so sorry about poor, sweet Buddie. Dogs are such a special part of families. Please know that I am thinking of you.
Little Buddie lived up to being man's best friend. I will miss giving him a Buddie Massage and listening to his grunts. Mom & Dad, I know it must be hard in your home right now...hang in there and be comforted by the great memories that little guy gave us.
