Maintenance

Once I read that you should take the clothes dryer filter/screen to the sink and pour water on it.  If the water does not flow easily through the screen then you have a build up detergent and fabric softener on it which could cause the dryer to overwork and overheat.  I just did that and my screen held the water just like it was a solid piece.  I'm soaking it in vinegar and diswashing liquid right now.  So please, before you next use your dryer, do the same.

PS:  Many home made cleaning supplies say add Dawn Dishwashing Liquid.  Only the blue Dawn is the "grease fighter".  Another hint;  shampoo is made to remove oil from hair therefore it is the right things to use for cleaning combs and brushes.

Heloise has nothing on me.  (I can hear you younger readers saying "who?".
