The tent is still up but other than that and a great number of trash bags it doesn't look like a 120 people wildly partied on my lawn Saturday night. After days of people coming and going it feels a bit lonely here. I should have thrown another party on Sunday night while all the party equipment was still here.
The after wedding party went on until about 3:30 am. Everyone was pleased; the bride and groom and all their guests. The food was plentiful and delicious. I will be eating some wonderful leftovers for the next few days.
Do it again? Sure. It actually did not cause me any headaches or much effort and I got a lot of thanks and praise for a party that didn't cost me a dime.
The newlyweds are on there way here this afternoon to pick up the sound system and the wedding dress, then I guess it's back to life as normal.
Speaking of the sound system. I am watching closely to make sure the vibrations of the music and dancing chased the yard rodents away.
