Now I'm mad. Home foreclosures are now affecting us and I'm mad at both the banks and those people who chose to extend themselves by purchasing a home they really couldn't afford. Now I understand that there are some financial circumstances that people can't predict or prevent such as illness, divorce, death, and unemployment. I always thought you were supposed to ask yourself a lot of "what if" questions before taking on a long time commitment such as a mortgage. A foreclosure and a drastic price reduction of a bank owned home near ours in Big Canoe is making my house look overpriced. How can we compete with that?

It's a nasty situation when the responsible people are suffering because of the irresponsible ones.
We completely understand your frustration. We were in the same exact boat with a few foreclosures in our neighborhood and it brings all of the comparable sale prices down big time. Your home is BEAUTIFUL and will hopefully sell soon!
