Spring Days & Birthday Parties

While the rest of the country has somewhat unpredictable weather during the month of April, Georgia can plan on some really delightful temperatures.  A week of temperatures in the 70s says that spring is well underway.  The one drawback is tree pollen .... it is yellow and thick.  Sometimes the air is so heavy with it that it looks like yellow smoke.  Though the temperature is wonderful you cannot open the windows .... yellow dust everywhere.

Young Benjamin had his first birthday party on Saturday.  His grandparents (us) were delighted that he was here at our home on his birthday.  19 people showed up to celebrate.  He is such a social little guy.  He never gets overwhelmed and is always happy to be surrounded by lots of people, especially other children.  Now the dilemma is how to get all those presents home.  Opa and I gave him a Radio Flyer Wagon, but not before his parents went to the store and checked out the size of the box.  They then gave us the go ahead.
