Please complain to the networks and also your local news
Bring back Chet, David and Walter .... okay, maybe not (they are all dead). But please report only news! No Hollywood gossip, no sportsman transgressions, no speculation. Stop raising sports figures, rock stars, actors, and the wanna-be famous to more importance than they deserve. Stop trying to fill an hour and just give us the facts that truly affect us.

We watch the weather channel--besides the majority of the time they have great background music. Every one of the major news channels are the same. Complaining won't do a bit of good because I believe the majority of the population likes their crap--if they didn't they wouldn't show it.
They hook people in because the people think, well maybe this time they have more information, so people watch the same pointless story over & over. This Tiger Woods thing is nuts. I believe he is trying to handle this professionally by keeping it out of the public, but the media can't handle it, so they are making up stories and theories. I'm only seeing the internet side of it...thank goodness. I can only imagine the US TV stations this week. I'm sure it is on every news show, entertainment show, sport show...
