New Year's Eve

2009 was a good year for the family. Oh, there were some disappointments we wish hadn't come to some of the people we love, but those wrinkles are being worked out and all will be fine in 2010. I hope the same can be said for you if you are facing difficulties yourself.
Best wishes for a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
Our Christmas holiday was super. We missed our kids, but are pleased they are developing their own traditions. Our dear friends, Paula and Pete, left this afternoon to go back home after spending a delightful week here in the Teton Valley. We went sledding, walked in the snow,
hit the tourist spots in Jackson Hole, played a lot of cards, but the top event was going snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park. YNP is a beautiful place at any time of the year but the winter scenery is magical! You must do it. We oohed, ahhed, and laughed a lot!
Snow has been falling for over 36+ hours. We expect to be snowed in tomorrow until the snow removal guy arrives. We will be at the mercy of his schedule. The wind we experienced last year stayed away for our first two weeks here, but today it has started and deep drifts are forming in the yard.
Every departure we make from here to go back to our primary home becomes more difficult. We hope you come to visit this next year and find out why.
Leaving our newly adopted dog, Josie, is going to be really difficult. What a sweet, gentle
dog she is.

Don't ask me .... must be the blog gremlims messing with my spacing.

Glad you all had a great time! I hope 2010 doesn't go by as quick as 2009!
