After sending a note to the animal rescue group that took care of our Josie , I received several notes back expressing their delight in her new home. One note was from the foster parents. While at their home Josie made close friends with a small beagle who has since been adopted also. This little female beagle is currently going to school to learn how to detect bedbugs. She will then go to work at a large resort in central Florida which shall remain nameless. Shortly after I read this message I saw that there is going to be a television report on this increasing problem ...according to this preview the documented cases of bedbugs has gone up 500% as of late. Ugh! I may adopt my own beagle!

I find it interesting that the resort that is taking such a impressive approach to handling this growing issue is hiding their name because then people would know that they probably had a bed bug problem before. However, with this solution...it is probably one of the least likely places to get bed bugs now. It is a shame that they can't brag about it.
