Rain Comes To The South
Yeah, it is headline material. The southeastern U.S. has been in drought conditions for several years. The lakes, streams, and creeks all with little or no water. We were pleased to find out that while we were away 9" of rain fell here in North Georgia. I know it will be depressing, but I'm hoping that this winter continues to be a rainy one. Nearby Lake Lanier which is the water source for the greater Atlanta area rose 2' . Meanwhile, we still have our water use restrictions. I believe those will stay in effect for many more years.

Wow I didn't know you had so little water the last few years. Yikes!
I'm glad you are getting some much needed rain now. Our winters are always rainy. hehe
Hopefully your water restrictions will be lifted soon.
I just read your comment on my blog and that's funny how things happen sometimes, isn't it?
I wish there was a way to reply to people's comments on your blog, you know? /sigh
