I am happy to report there are still businesses that take responsibility for the actions of their employees. You read in a September entry to this blog about our water woes. I wrote a very polite and detailed letter to our water company explaining our plight and why I felt an error on their part caused this problem. The manager called this morning. After investigating and interrogating his employees, they admitted to removing the PRV (pressure reducing valve) and not telling us they did, thus allowing us to unknowingly invite 170 lbs of water pressure into our house. Happy to report they are going to pay our plumbing bills.

What an uplifting story. The fact that they will admit their mistake says so much about their character. Thanks for sharing. What a great "insignificant" event.
