Rain

The southeast United States got a measurable rainfall this week.  We've had rain this summer, but usually in the form of a fast moving storm.  This week's rainfall lingered around and soaked into our dry soil.  We live in the woods, thus causing me to worry about wildfires.  At the entrance to our neighborhood we have a "Smokey Bear" sign indicating the wildfire risk.  Always good to see the word Moderate or Low.

I'm happy it rained for you in the south, but I am hoping that there will be a break from the German rain when we get back there in a couple of days.
The snow we saw in Idaho this week makes us excited to come back for skiing at Christmas.
