The weekend water woes have done havoc on our interior plumbing. Blown gaskets, lack of a pressure regulator and cracked pipes from the 145 lbs of water pressure blasting into our house necessitated a call to the plumber. This mornings' visit ran us $840. Not bad for 2 hours of clean work and 1 hr travel time. If you are thinking of a career change, perhaps plumbing is something you might want to think about.

Sign me up! When are they offering the next "Plumbing 101" course?! It'd be great until you get the "Uh, I ate Skyline Chili tonight and now my toilet is clogged" phone call. Ugh. It's probably not for me. :(
