Olympics Belong to the Athletes of the World

I enjoy watching the Olympics.  I don't get patriotic over it all and I don't cheer for just the USA.  However I did hope the guys in the swimming relay would win over the French.  That's not political, it was just because the French team was talking trash.   Today there was some trash talk about the opening ceremony.  Seems that some lighting events that took place outside the sports arena were only viewable on television as they were digitally created.  Big deal - what a show!  Why would anyone need to nitpik about the greatest opening ceremony ever?

I am sooo glad I watched this opening ceremony...we all knew they would have fireworks - Duh! But all the additional shows included were amazing!

If someone missed any of this I highly recommend looking up portions on you tube!

I saw a portion of the ceremonies while in Prague. The synchronization of the Chinese people in the show should earn them a gold metal in synchronization! Amazing!

I believe the part people are talking about are the "footsteps" that led to the Bird's Nest. I think the commentaters said they were digital if i remember correctly. Anyway, what an amazing ceremony....by far the best ever!!!
