Yes, I'm going to complain about the weather ....

Those of you who know me personally know that I hate the heat and humidity of the South.  I have long said "next summer I'm going to be in Maine!"  But, alas, I've never made it.  When we decided to buy a vacation home in Idaho, weather was a "biggie" in the pro column.  So here I am, back in Georgia, buttoned up in a stale air-conditioned house, and unwilling to go outside for any reason.

But looking at the Weather Channel, we certainly picked the best days for traveling last week. We were amazed that through Nebraska and Missouri we were traveling in 78 degree temps - amazingly low for that area in July.  But now the temperatures are back up to the 90 degree mark. Good timing for us.
