My 35th Mother's Day -

Happy Mother's Day to all my blog followers who are Moms, want to be a Mom, don't even want to think about being a Mom, and to the others that will have to wait until next month for the Father's Day greeting.  I had a delightful time at Brooke & Abe's annual Mother's Day brunch.  After the quiche was cleared from the table the cake came out, the candles were lit and we sang "Happy Birthday" to Elijah.

Being a Mom has been an exciting adventure.  I would do it again.  Maybe not with the same kids ...... .  Of course I say I'd do it again with the expectation that I would be smarter than the first time around.  But the set of children I produced turned out well.  They haven't made any dreadful mistakes in their lives.  They are good looking and well mannered.  And like I told one of them a few weeks ago we could always take them anyplace and they would do their best to fit in and conduct themselves appropriately.  If you see any of them .... tell them their Mom loves them.
