Now I'm busy getting everything washed and ready. Later we are going to start sorting our clothes for the trip. We are pretty good at packing for Europe. No checked luggage - right off the plane, straight through customs and out the door. There would be a real opportunity for lost luggage as we are going standby - that would be a disaster with the exchange rate!

Visitors from 30 miles south of here.
Our family came today to wish us a good trip next week. It is always great to see them and share a meal. The grandchildren were really quiet. I think it had a lot to do with the gloomy weather. B & A scavenged around the house in search of a piece of jewelry I have misplaced. No luck - even with the offer of a reward.

Brooke and Abe are both talking about 'getting some R&R' on your trip...EXCUSE ME!! They spending half of their time with Rene and I...and R&R is not in our vocabulary. Mom/Dad...be sure to schedule some R&R days for when you return from Europe...you will need them. See you soon!!!!!
