January is normally the coldest month of winter in Georgia. The past few days have been warm, so much so that we actually ate on an outside patio Saturday night. I'm worried that 75 degrees in January might mean a delayed Spring.
Just got back from a week's visit to San Francisco. I had a good time with my son. He even convinced me to ride on the back of his motorbike. I thought I would be frightened, especially on those steep hills and in the city traffic, but surprisinglyy I was not. Saw a lot more of the city than I had on my previous visits. I also got to spend an evening with my nephew who was nearby on business.
Food is the star in San Francisco. I had Thai, Japanese, local Dungeness crab, French Soul, and Middle Eastern food. Oh yes, I also had my first In-n-Out burger. In addition to riding the scooter, I did a LOT of walking on those steep hills. My feet, shins, knees and hips ache, but do you think all that walking was reflected on the scales .... not a chance!
