Natural Disaster: The Power of Wind

I took a long trip by car this weekend.  During the trip I passed through 3 areas that were affected by the outbreak of tornadoes two+ weeks ago.  This morning I drove through an area that is pretty well known to me and it was unrecognizable.  Houses weren't just blown apart, they were pulverized into tiny pieces.  Neighborhoods that I knew were just not there anymore.   The other areas I saw and what I have seen on TV looked awful, but I only saw the damage, I did not know what was missing.  In the area I saw today I knew what was gone and it was so sobering to think how the force of nature can change so much in an instant.
