Haven't done anything exciting this past week, just finishing up the projects that have dragged on this summer. The new windows are all installed and I finally got all of them stained and polyurethaned. I needed Dick's help to replace the interior moldings and now that's done. Yesterday, with the high winds outside, we stayed in the garage sorting and stacking the excess building materials there. Earlier I had separated Matt's belongings from ours. Matt is the former owner and we have stored his belongings here since we bought the house. He has had a good year ($$) and is now building his own garage so maybe his things will be gone by the time we get back here in December.
There is a wood stove in the garage and we have a little sitting area around it. Remember our garage is huge. Six cars could fit in it. We have had a few fireside sittings but haven't broken out the marshmallows yet.
Matt had many leftover construction blocks stored on the adjacent lot. He wasn't going to use them at his new place and I was tired of looking at them. I sent him a picture of them and said they "had to go" and told him to advertise them on craigslist. He did and he got a buyer. They are supposed to be here today to haul them away. I KNOW there are many critters living in there so I'm going to stand in the yard with a shovel and swat them as they run towards my house.

You're not going to swat at Rene's friend are you????...Meanie!
I think he is the landlord of that complex.
Sounds like it could get messy!
