Well, at least I'm not that bad

I hate to admit it, but I watch a lot of TV programs that have to do with families whose homes are in disarray (such as Home Rules) and occasional shows that deal with people who are hoarders.  It's amazes me how the condition of the home just gets away from these people due to emotional problems they are going through.  Watching these shows gives me the opportunity to pat myself on the back and say "Well, at least I'm not that bad", another admission I feel guilty about.  I do have a tendency to hold onto items that are sentimental to me and other things just in case, but in recent years I have conquered letting go to many things that previously I would have kept.
