Yesterday I wrote about my children being good travelers. Many of our trips were by automobile and yes, we got through those trips without major meltdowns and physical harm. It helped that we had very large vehicles and they each had their own space plus we stopped frequently. They each had their own money for snacks and they could make their choices at the convenience stores with the exception of these two items:

Cool Ranch Doritos and Grape Bubblelicious should only be eaten when you are alone in the middle of a field. The strong odors of these two foods(?) does not belong in an enclosed vehicle.

That's funny! I would agree that they both have pretty potent smells.
Katie, you went on some of those trips also. Remember the camping trip to Michigan with the day of canoeing and the day climbing the dunes?
We thought that climbing the dunes was tiring THEN, I can't imagine trying it now!!! I have wonderful memories from those trips. You always treated me like another daughter. :)
I also remember you purchasing a bag of potent smelling food for a road trip with your children recently....
Hmm ... Corn Nuts? Jerky?
