Christmas Cards

I spent the previous evening writing Christmas cards.  To those of you who don't find one in your mailbox in the next week ... it's because your address is written on a scrap of paper and tucked in one of a dozen places around the house or car.  To get the other addresses I checked two old fashioned, handwritten address books and the two address books incorporated into my computer.  There is always the question "Didn't they move?  Is this their new address or old?"  I try to keep the entries in my address book in pencil .. a must in this transient world we live in.  My husband always enters people in ink , an annoyance since the people he enters are not close friends and they eventually fade from our lives.  Once, when he thought he was being helpful, he erased all the names and addresses of people who were deceased.  This was very disturbing to me ...  I just wanted their names written somewhere.  He will not do that again.

Wow! Christmas cards this year...I'm impressed with all that you have had going on. Here is a tip...in the notes section of my online address book, I try to enter a 'last updated' date.

I had every intention of writing cards but time got the best of me.
