Grand-Dogs

Well it's a canine zoo around here this week.  In addition to our two shih-tsu doggies, we are keeping two dogs belonging to daughter and her family.  To say one of her dogs is hyperactive is an understatement.  He barked non-stop yesterday in addition to moving at warp speed all day.  It was so unnerving that the other dogs threw up and we had to sedate Toby.
Today he is much, much calmer.  I'm hoping today's behavior is permanent and not just because he is exhausted from yesterday.
Now a warning:  If you want a calm lap dog, do not ever purchase or adopt a dog that has the name Terrier - such as Yorkshire Terrier or Jack Russell Terrier, etc.
Speaking of getting a pet.  Next time you are in that situation please check out the adoptable pets on www.Petfinder.com.  This site has any breed dog you would ever want from puppies to seniors.  The pets are listed from closest to you to the rest of the U.S.
