Our little shih-tsu, Buddie, had his 16th birthday in May. Since then he has had 3 "this must be the end" health happenings. But like a Timex Watch he "takes a licking, and keeps on ticking". He had really slowed down this past year, to the point we had to nudge him to wake him up and several times we held a mirror under his nose. But after going on thyroid medication and having major dental work done he was feeling much better and was skipping around here like a puppy. But this past week he had flu like symptoms and stopped eating for 6 days. This morning he woke me up because he wanted to eat - and he's our Buddie again. We've loved all our dogs, but if we had to clone one - Buddie would be it!
Rants, raves and thoughts about the journey through my rather easy to deal with life.

Buddy and the Saturn have to be the best purcheses EVER made by you guys!!!
Good answer Abe. Buddie is the champion of all dogs! This website says according to Buddie's weight-class & age, he is 80 in human years...I thought he was closer to 90http://www.uexplore.com/misc/dogyears.htm
Buddie is by far the best dog ever!
Buddie is "almost" family and one of my very favorite dogs of all times. I remember the first time I saw him--you brought him, your Mom, and her dog (sorry I forgot his name) to the office in Cinti; they were the smallest, cutest dogs I'd ever seen.
Scooter was Mammaw's dog...Buddie's brother.
