Last night I went through my closet. Looking at everything with a critical eye I got rid of clothing that no longer (or never did) looks good on me or that I haven't worn in a long time. It looks a lot neater in there today.
Tonight I'm going back upstairs to look through my sewing notions (how many of you know what those are?) I'm actually selling some of them this week on eBay. Yes, there is a market for vintage buttons, zippers and bias tape.
So give me a pat on the back, because the urge to save everything runs strong in my family.

Holy Cow! I must have signed on to the wrong blog, because this CAN NOT be my mother's blog. You go girl! Keep it up! It feels good, doesn't it? And the reward of clutter-free space is so satisfying. Go Mom! Go Mom! Go Mom! (Yes, I am doing a dance for you while I type this)
Huh??? I don't get it? Why would you ever get rid of something that one day you might want to read again or use on a project? What kind of pack rat are you?
Hahahahaha! LOL
Great support Brooke! To Funny!
