There is some life in the real estate market.
Leigh's house is selling - hooray for her. The offer was actually over her asking price - rare indeed! I'm going to miss her charming little brick bungalow and it's nice neighborhood in Greenville. This was her second house. She paid the closing costs on her first home with her first paycheck out of college. Younger sister, Brooke bought her house on the same day at the same closing table. Dad and I are proud that both our daughters bought homes at such young ages.

Okay I am truely thrilled about Leigh selling her house but I really want to know who was cropped out of the holiday photo at the top of the page??? Was is me??? just kidding :)
Daddy was cropped out...it was a great photo of them having fun at the Chicago Christmas market.
I'm happy that my house sold, but I'm a little sad, because I had a great time there. I will keep the memories with me. The sadness is certainly subsided that I got more than the asking price! That rocks! I hope this means good things are coming for the sale of the Big Canoe house...although, that will be a little sad too.
Congrats Leigh! That's awesome. Barbara you do have a wonderful daughter. I have very much enjoyed knowing Leigh. Now that other daughter Brooke..... We won't go there! :) just kidding Brookie!
