70 degree days in March are the reason people enjoy living in the South. Oh it doesn't mean there won't be anymore winter weather days, but they will be few. The daffodils have already bloomed, the tulips are up and the flowering trees are beginning to blossom. Hopefully, there will not be a hard freeze like we had last April. It was so strange to see black leaves hanging limply from the trees and many shrubs and trees dead.
We recently added a few green things around the front walk. I put in a couple of holly bushes thinking their hard, sharp leaves would not interest the deer. Wrong! Between the stepping stones we added mondo grass. Deer evidently don't like the taste, but every night they stop by, pull the plants out of the ground, then spit them out. So everyday I replant.

WOW!!! The things that we don't see living in down town!
The weather has been beautiful! I am loving it!!!
I hope that you are doing well!!!
Haven't they had the time where they let the hunters come in and kill off some of the deer??? With days like this why would I think about moving further north?
Because your very best friend and very sassy neice happen to be up north!!! :)
Hi Barb, I love your blog! YOU GO GIRL!!!!
We've got flowers blooming too, but after 6 months, I am finally starting to see why people call Dusseldorf...Drizzeldorf. I guess it was a good time to start working.
I'm hearing that the beautiful Georgia weather turned a bit violent this weekend. I hope all of you made it through the storms safely and uneffected.
Violent storms...Ha! We laugh in the face of danger! - j/k we totally went under the stairs with the second portion....sorry for laughing :)
